Who We Are

Efatha Seminary is a church-run, co-educational boarding secondary school serving young men and women in Tanzania. Rooted in the Christian mission of Efatha Church, we pursue academic excellence and character formation, preparing students to lead, serve, and thrive in a rapidly changing world. The vision for the school began in February 2013, and we welcomed the first cohort of students to our Mapinga campus. Since then, we have grown in size, offerings, and impact while staying true to our founding purpose: to nurture minds and shape character for God and country.

We provide a complete secondary education pathway from Pre Form One through O-Level to A-Level.

A Level Combination

Our advanced level programme is designed to support a wide range of talents and aspirations across science, business, and arts. Combinations include:
Sciences: PCM, PCB, PGM, EGM, CBG
Arts & Humanities: HGK, HGL, HGE
Business & Economics: ECA

O Level Curriculum

A broad and rigorous curriculum that typically includes: English, Kiswahili, History, Geography, Basic Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Commerce, among other subjects essential for foundational mastery.

Efatha Seminary High School is registered with the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) under Center Code S1450. We uphold rigorous academic standards and continually improve teaching and learning to help every student reach their full potential.

Fees Paid Quarterly

School fees are to be paid on a quarterly basis, meaning parents or guardians are required to settle the tuition and other applicable charges every three months. Timely payment ensures uninterrupted access to classes, learning resources, and school activities.
